We’re excited to announce that the AREA customer community is being migrated over to the Lithium platform (currently hosting http://forums.autodesk.com/) beginning this afternoon!
What does this mean for you?
Between 4pm PDT today, June 7th, and 4pm PDT tomorrow, June 8th, all forums at forums.autodesk.com will be read-only. Don’t worry, users can still browse, search, and view content in the forums, but for that time-frame posting functionality will not be available.
We’ve done our best to coordinate this migration during slower hours and apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you very much for your understanding!
This just in, Fusion 360 is coming soon!
Inside sources tell @AutodeskHelp that Fusion 360 Beta is no longer accepting new applicants, as developers work around the clock to put the finishing touches on “lots of exciting new features and collaboration tools”.
According to recent reports, certain program features will soon become unavailable. We would like to remind viewers that while there is no need to panic, Beta users should plan accordingly.
As of June 8th, 2013 the ability to Import and Export as other file formats will be temporarily suspended until the official product release. It is also important to note that files will not be automatically migrated to the new platform. Any and all designs previously created will need to exported to a personal computer before September 1st, 2013.
For more information on these upcoming transitions, please visit the following comprehensive solution put together by Autodesk’s own, Keqing Song.
